Thanks for all the support. I will be making a deviation in light of this achievement to thank you all for the help. I never could have been so confident in my work if I didn't know people enjoyed it. Thanks again everyone and I hope I can continue to make more pleasing artwork for you guys to enjoy! I am open to suggestions for anything you guys might want. Anime character vectors, typographical posters, print designs, web graphics, literally ANYTHING to get my creative juices flowing again!

Status

So far my portfolio constructions is going well. I'm looking into a possible internship with Caliber Media Group and am also exploring the possibility of getting together with a guy I know at Sony Entertainment (gaming division) for a bit more talk and at the minimum a tour (at most an internship ). I am slowly working and building my network and hopefully once I finally get out of school I will have a good number of people to at least work somewhere in the gaming industry.

Speaking of school... my PHP class ain't going all that great. I haven't done a majority of the homework due to it being overly tedious and now I am extremely behind in the class. As I said before I understand the coding, just the hierarchy is kinda strange and the overall construction of it just seems redundant and unnecessary for me. Due to this heavy coding I have been taking I was thinking of a couple options:

- Switch my major to Graphic Design
- Lower to an Associates Degree instead of a BA
- Switch over to Game Art/Design
- Switch to Westwood College and do one of the above.

I'm going to try and stick with it a bit longer, but in the end I don't want my parents paying out of their pockets for redundant classes I might not finish. I don't want to settle for a associates but if that means I have to learn PHP, MySQL and Java I might just give up. I love Web work and all but I joined this major for the "Interactive Media" and not the "Web" portion. We'll see where I am a quarter or two from here, though.

Other news is AX. So far I have my ticket and hopefully will have around $300-$400 dedicated to the show like last year (although I only spent around $200 at the last one). I might be getting a room but I'm not too sure how that will work out yet. Either way look for me with the alias Emn1ty. I should be wearing black pants and a red Anime: My AntiDrug shirt with a camera. I am really looking forward to this summer and hopefully I can relax a bit and think over my options. In the end I might just settle for an Associates and be done with school.
